We are delighted to welcome Patricia (Pat) Merryweather-Arges, who takes up her role as the new Chair of Rotary Healthcare Professionals on 31 July 2026.
Pat brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience and an outstanding record of leadership within Rotary International, including serving as Rotary International Board Vice President in 2023–2024 and Director from 2022–2024.
Pat describes herself as a mission-driven, people-centered leader focused on improving health and healthcare through collaboration with patients, families, healthcare professionals, providers and communities.
Her approach emphasizes bringing people together, strengthening governance and turning a shared vision into measurable outcomes. She is particularly committed to empowering other leaders and creating opportunities for continuous growth.
